Sept. Must Haves

Hello September! Fashion week is upon us and so many events are happening. On Friday, I attended a few shows at the Intrepid and the Dream Hotel. Then, I went to a fashion panel discussion at Samsung in the Meatpacking district. What I realized this season is that I want to do more for blog. Share more of my personal style and take risks with different staple pieces. With fall a few weeks aways, layering up is going to be fun. If there's one brand I could splurge on, it's GucciI love their handbags with the signature Gucci logo is. What caught my eye though is this stunning 'Quilted  Leather Backpack' with the bamboo handle drop. No words! The
craftsmanship is the finest I've seen, yet so simplistic.

Another splurge would be on the Princeton slippers in white leather. How cute are they? Just slip them, snap your look, and you're ready to go. The simplicity is what I love about the brand and I am sure other bloggers will agree with me. My obsession every fall are chunky, knit sweaters. I awlays buy them in neutral colors like a gray, black, or blush pink. Madewell's Stitchmix Pullover sweater is a great option to have in your closet. It comes in two colors (pink/white) and the friged edges give it an artful feel. So pair that sweater with ankle boots from Paul Andrew x Goop (pictured right), and boyfriend jeans by Topshop.
I love a great pair of jeans. It gives you confidence to wear anything. Dark blue wash jeans like River Island's is the perfect example of that. Ripped, boyfriend fit, and hugs all your curves beautifully. So what's a distressed jean without a killer top. I'm talking about Zimmerman's Meridan Embroider top from the designer's SS17 collection. I love the style and color because its right on the trend. The style is what I would wear and the color is so elegant.
